This role is part of the General Health & Wellness Clinical Franchise. We are seeking s

trategic marketers with a track record of building brands or businesses through new product launches, product improvements and marketing other differentiating services. General Health & Wellness is Quest Diagnostics' largest clinical franchise,

with responsibility for enterprise wide wellness and prevention, a strategic priority for the company and focus within healthcare. The

GH&W franchise team works closely with the other franchises that target primary care, notably Women's Health, Infectious Diseases and Immunology, Cardiovascular/Metabolic and Endocrinology, giving exposure to and opening up career! progression opportunities with the more specialized areas of ! the business. Works with a variety of functions including R&D, medical affairs, operations and commercial sales and marketing.

Level/grade of position will be determined based on the candidate’s experience.

Responsibilities

Conduct market, competitive and customer research to identify needs and trends (inc. gather input from downstream organization)

Support idea generation and contribute to identifying innovative, high value solutions

Define the product profile and other solution requirements, including initial business case and strategic rationale

Work within cross functional team to use assigned resources to develop and deploy offering

Participates in launch team, to ensure pricing, coding, reporting, training, advertising/promotion, channel strategies and tactics are launch ready

Manage life cycle decisions for both existing and new offerings, through tracking offering performance against objective! s, customer satisfaction.

Designing and fielding market research (product focused) as needed.

Support development of clinical KOLs and patient advocacy group relationships

Identify and develop effective communication strategies using personal selling and other tactics as appropriate; validate strategy and effectiveness of executions (e.g. trade ad, sales collateral, etc.)

Owns all attributes related to the product â€" manage one source of truth

Accountabilities / Metrics

P&L responsibility for their offering/portion of product line assigned

Successful cross functional development and market introduction of new and improved offerings.

Qualifications

Education:
Requires Bachelors degree in life sciences, business, marketing and/or product management. Advanced degree/ MBA preferred.

Experience:
Manager, Product Marketing : 5! -8 years

Director, Product Marketing: 8-12+ years
Critical Know How and Skill â€" Selection Criteria

Significant knowledge of disease area, ideally from past experience but demonstrated ability to rapidly learn science

Extremely strong written and oral communication and excellent influencing/collaboration skills across many functions and levels

Demonstrated ability to think strategically, develop deep insights about customers and convert understanding of market and customer needs into superior/unique offerings

Business acumen (including finance) and judgment

Project management skills, especially balancing short and long term franchise building plans

Understanding how value is delivered through the enterprise
