Registered Nursing License or active Temporary Practice Permit in the State(s) in which the nurse is practicing. If practicing with an active temporary practice permit, obtains an RN license prior to the expiration of the practice permit.

Graduation from NLNAC and/or CCNE accredited school of nursing or college. BSN preferred. BLS required. At least two (2) years prior nursing experience, or BSN and at least 6 months nursing experience is preferred.

Computer Competency

  • Basic Use of MS Word 2007
o Creation of meeting minutes, creation of charts and tables o Saving and naming of new and established files
  • Basic Use of MS Powerpoint 2007
o Creation of an education presentation using clip art

o Creation of a simple spreadsheet and use of symbols

Job Description:
This full-time position is located in Voorhees, NJ:
The Clinical Nurse II is a clinically competent practitioner of pediatric, family centered nursing. The nurse at this level provides safe nursing care to the general unit population with minimal guidance, and bases practice on identified principles and standards of care. The registered nurse is responsible for day to day patient care, assessment and treatment in an outpatient office. The nurse practices at the level of a competent-to-expert practitioner of nursing. The nurse must demonstrate competence in caring for patients with moderate-to-complex health issues and assist the Site Manager with administrative issues that affect the clinical practices within the office, as well as comply with the administrative policies and clinical protocols as outlined in policy and procedure manual. Administratively responsible to the Site Manager and Ambulatory Nursing Director for nursing practice issues.
