Description:
The Registered Nurse is responsible for rendering professional nursing care to pediatric through adolescent patients by assessing, developing, implementing and evaluating nursing care needs on individual and continuing basis of in keeping with Pediatric ED/ED policies and procedures and external regulations.

Requirements:
[Minimum education]

Graduated from an accredited School of Nursing, Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

[Desired education]

• BSN preferred

[Minimum work experience]

1-3 years Emergency/Pediatric nursing experience.

[Desired work experience]

1-3 years Pediatric ED experience

[Required licenses/certifications]

• (BLS) Basic Life Support
• (ACLS) Advanced Cardiac Life Support
• (PALS) Pediatric Advanced Life Support

[Required skills]

• IV Certification with adult and pediatric experience
• Conscious Sedation experience
• Excellent proven interpersonal skills
• Demonstrates multitasking and prioritization skills

[Valid drivers license required]
