LOCATION; FULLY ONSITE ABUJA
JOB TITLE: Software Tester and Quality Assurance Officer, located in Abuja. We are looking for a deeply skilled tester and an experienced Quality Assurance officer who is passionate about zero-error software development results.
RESPONSIBILITY: This position will be joining the team responsible for ensuring that there is zero error in the set of finished solutions. The SQA officer must have knowledge of best-class testing standards, processes, and protocols, with fit-for-purpose documentation of test results. Specific tasks include:
- Responsible for software testing and quality assurance of software
- Ensuring that the tools and methodologies selected for software tests identify defects and comply with quality standards.
- Compares test results against expected results, recommends alternative testing if needed and implements improvements to the testing process.
- Drafts, revises and approves test plans and scripts
- Works with the team that ensures that they meet project/department milestones/goals are met, while adhering to approved budgets
- Conducts functional tests, customer scenario testing, stress testing, penetration testing, performance testing, scalability testing and international testing
- Ironing out any bugs and improving the quality of the finished product
- Conducting market research, and analyzing industry trends and developments for new testing standards and protocols
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelors or Masters degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, or any quantitative and analytical focused degrees.
- Demonstrated software testing experience and skills, with deep knowledge of testing tools, with a minimum of 4-7 years of experience
- Certifications like PMP and ISTOB are an added advantage
- Practical knowledge of JavaScript, Python, C#, PHP, VBScript, Java.
- Practical experience using Selenium, ApacheJmeter, Bugzilla, FoneMonkey
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive actions
- Excellent oral and written business communications, and creativity in problem solving.
- You possess strong problem-solving and prioritization skills

Salary: ₦200,000.00 - ₦300,000.00 per month
