**COMPANY DESCRIPTION**
Our client is a fast growing regional home healthcare ! provider with a fantastic reputation in their industry. This is an organization that is headquartered in the Eastern PA / New Jersey area and has annual sales of close to $100 million. In their home care niche, as a company they provide their client base highly skilled nursing professionals and clinical care providers as well as therapists and home health aides. As a result of their continued growth, they are looking to add a skilled Sales Director to their team. This is a newly created position that will take over management of the existing field sales team. Previously, the field Sales Reps have reported to their individual branch locations. This newly created position will centralize the management and development of the sales team, as well as develop ongoing sales metrics, goal and activity tracking, staff sales training and more.
**SUMMARY DESCRIPTION**
As the Sales Director, you will assume the management of the company's full sales team and client ba! se. This team consists of 13 Sales Reps serving the sales need! s of 20 branch locations and roughly $100 million in annual sales. This Sales Director will report directly to the Vice President of Operations. The primary duties will be to maximize the company's sales results, implement sales and marketing strategies, and expand the business and revenue for this home healthcare business. The overall success of the Sales Director will be based on top line revenue growth. Specific duties will include:
Manage and direct the field sales personnel.
Assess the current team’s skill set and competency level in regards to achieving goals.
Work with field management to develop and implement marketing strategies. Maximize company name recognition through community initiatives and corporate sponsorships at the field operating level.
Source, develop and execute managed care and commercial contract opportunities.
Develop sales staff targets, sales metrics, activity metrics, business plans and budgets.
Train and motivate the sales staff
Other duties as assigned
**REQUIREMENTS**
Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 7 years of sales management experience. Experience in the healthcare industry is also required with a preference in field of home care, respiratory services, DME industry, or similar industries.
Should have a strong history in coaching and training sales skills; also show a clearly career history of sales and revenue growth as well as budget achievement. The ideal candidate will also have experience managing a sales force in a multi-site environment. Should also have experience in contracting with managed care organizations. A working knowledge of nursing, infusion therapy, rehab, DME and/or pediatric services is a strong plus.
**COMPENSATION**
Compensation includes a base salary in the $120k-$130k range with a strong bonus program that will take your total annual compensation to ! around $160k. In addition, you will receive a solid car allowance, cell! phone, laptop and a full and complete benefits package.
