Ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision; meet pharmaceutical care needs of neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric; make critical decisions and respond quickly to customer needs; and manages the daily operations of the pharmacy and diverse workforce.
Strong knowledge of compounding medications and sterile products including chemotherapy for patients in the clinic and in-patient units.
Develops and implements policies and procedures and supervises pharmacy staff.
Assists in formulating policy, and developing and implementing new strategies and procedures.
Works with staff to continually develop and implement ideas for delivering higher quality, more cost-effective services.
Bachelors Degree (BS) in Pharmacy or Pharm D. From an accredited College or University required
Minimum of two (2) years IV experience in an IV alternate site environment or equivalent work experience
Management and! Supervisory experience preferred
Equivalent combination of related education and work experience may be substituted
Current NJ Pharmacist license required
Good oral and written communication skills as well as good organizational and interpersonal skills required
Ability to maintain Leadership role and responsibility
Computer knowledgeable
