The RN utilizes the nursing process to administer culturally sensitive, patient-focused care to assigned patients that is congruent with ANA standards, the NJ Practice Act, the Joint Commission, professional standards and Nursing Department Policies and Procedures that are evidence-based. The RN is a member of a staff that includes the Nurse Manager, Assistant Nurse Manager, Multi-Skilled Technicians, and Unit Secretaries. A patient-focused model of care utilizes a multi-disciplinary team approach.
Job Qualifications:
- Graduate of an approved program for Registered Nurses
- Current license to practice in New Jersey
- Two years experience in specialty preferred
- Satisfactory completion of the specialty specific pharmacology test
- American Heart Association Basic Cardiac Life Support training is required
- Any specialty credentialing required to be achieved within the fir! st year and maintained thereafter include: CSMC IV Certificati! on and CPR.
