In addition, AARP ranked us among their top ten companies.In this role, you will lead a clinical program consisting of 6 clinical pharmacists that focus on improving patient outcomes through interaction with physicians, nurses and ancillary staff. The clinical staff currently specialize in; oncology, pediatrics and neonatology, internal medicine, critical care, cardiology and pharmacovigilance.
You will serve as a professional resource and will be responsible for mentoring, supervising, and evaluating the clinical staff. Must be able to prioritize level of care based on critical needs, participate in interdisciplinary patient care rounds, prevent, detect, and resolve medication-related problems and to make appropriate evidence-based, patient-centered medication therapy recommendations as part of the interdisciplinary team. Will ensure appropriate! documentation of clinical interventions and provide concise, ! applicable, comprehensive, and timely responses to requests for drug information from patients and health care providers. NJ Board of Pharmacy license and registration required.
Graduation from an accredited School of Pharmacy is required with Pharm D with PGY1 or PGY2 preferred.
