For the Occupational Therapist OT, this position entails the following responsibilities: Responsible for the administrative functions under the direction of the LTC administrator and for clinical issues in collaboration with the clinical directors/supervisors. Schedule and interview new candidates for the open positions. Track data and performance measures - monitor documentation. Assist with the budget process and the development and administration of policies and procedures. Coordinate patient schedules. Help with program development wihtin the Long Term Care Setting Provide direct clinical care services in area of licensing. Ensure excellence of clinical evaluations, goal development, treatment and discharge planning through periodic review and monitoring of documentation in collaboration with clinical department designee. Train and develop new and existing employees.
