Radiology Technologist

Description: East Orange General Hospital is currently interviewing Radiology Technologist right now, this job will be presented in New Jersey. Under general supervision, and following established procedures, performs a variety of technical radiologic procedures on pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients, using ! standard, portable, and/or specialized X-Ray equipment in order to provide information for physicians for the diagnosis and treatment of patients' illnesses and injuries.
Perform related task such as positioning patients for correct anatomical views, maintaining order and cleanliness of work area, and performing routine clerical task. May be required to rotate on-call with other qualified Radiology technical staff. High school; Graduate of 2 year AMA approved Certificate program or A.A.S.Degree in Radiologic Technology New Jersey State Department of Environmental Protection - General Radiography. ARRT Required. Demonstrated competency in CT Imaging with a minimum of two years experience as an X-Ray Technologist. As required by the ARRT and NJDEP to perform this job; BLS certification
