In this role, you will assist the external communications team with developing and implementing media relations, marketing, and recruiting communications that support BAYADA Home Health Care’s goal of being the provider and employer of choice. Work independently and with the supervisor and team to provide clear, consistent, and effective communications for BAYADA at the enterprise, practice, and local levels. Ensure that all communications adhere to brand standards while providing exceptional client service. In addition to working autonomously, this position is differentiated from the Associate role through a demonstration of one or more of the following: s! ubject matter expertise, ownership and accountability for comp! lex assignments, and the ability to work in a supervisory capacity leading, coaching, and training others. It is a mid-level professional track position and will offer training and continuing education to support a career in management within BAYADA Home Health Care.
Responsibilities:
Demonstrate and communicate the core values of The BAYADA Way.
Provide communications support, including overseeing the production of ads, articles, brochures, care studies, display units, flyers, press releases, and media pitches.
Work closely with the Communications Manager to provide strategic communication plans, consultation, and recommendation/coordination of national and regional conferences with key stakeholders.
Develop media lists using media database service, draft and distribute press releases, and track results.
Make recommendations for improved efficiencies.
Lead project team(s) or committee(s) to meet established objectives.
Build rela! tionships with key audiences including service offices, specialty practices, and COM team members.
Manage job requests using the department’s project management system.
Ensure appropriate brand standards (editorial and graphic) are used in communication deliverables.
Manage interns, when available, including hiring, supervising, evaluating performance, and providing opportunities for learning and development.
Follow career-related topics and trends that can inform and improve job performance.
Demonstrate solid performance or exceed performance standards in key job
Perform related duties, or as required or requested by supervisor.
Qualifications:
Exemplifies characteristics of The BAYADA Way : compassion, excellence, reliability.
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in marketing, communications, public relations, journalism, or related field.
Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in communications, marketing, public r! elations, advertising, or related field.
Excellent written and verb! al communication skills.
Ability to handle numerous projects and meet aggressive deadlines.
Ability to make independent decisions based on customer/service office and/or COM business needs in relation to job duties.
Outstanding customer service skills.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Knowledge of traditional and digital media a must.
PC skills required to perform job functions, plus proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
Demonstrated record of strong interpersonal skills and relationship building.
