If you are seeking an opportunity to continue to play a pivotal, senior role in the development of (PCMH) pro! grams that are revolutionizing the delivery of patient care then we should talk. Our New Jersey based client has an immediate opening for a Medical Director with Patient Centered Medical Home (PCMH) and managed care/healthcare insurance experience . This position is responsible for leadership, implementation and support of the Patient Centered Medical Home (PCMH) program across New Jersey. Among other duties and responsibilities the Medical Director will:

Develop Medical Director competencies in provider network management that include recruitment of PCMH practices and establishing/maintaining relationships with lead physicians

Participate in development of corrective action plans to address variances in performance and budget. Work closely with participating PCMH practices to assure successful outcomes, both quality and cost

Work closely with clinical leadership to refine/revise clinical processes of care and outcomes and quality metrics based on! up to date evidence based literature and program goals
Benchmark best practices to selectively apply in order to achieve performance improvement in PCMH's

Participate in the coordination of data analysis required to assess partner's baseline performance and opportunities

Participate in internal and external presentations, collaborative initiatives and projects

Skills and experience requirements include:
10 years’ experience in clinical practice and minimum five (5) years’ experience in managed care including medical management, quality management and network management

Experience in PCMH development and operations

MD or DO license with a current unrestricted license to practice medicine (NJ)

Board certification (ABMS) in physician's specialty ( IM, FM, or Pediatrics)

Valid drivers' license.

A working knowledge of Patient Centered Medical Home (PCMH) programs as well as utilization, case, quality and network management experience is needed.! In addition, experience with accreditation requirements, NCQA, development of evidence based medical policies and criteria, CMS requirements, informatics provider profiling and the group health insurance industry in general is essential in combination with other related skills.
