The Southern New Jersey Perinatal Cooperative (SNJPC) is a non-profit agency that serves the seven southern most counties of South Jersey. SNJPC is dedicated to improving health outcomes for pregnant women, babies and children.
Nurse Home Visitor for Camden City, New Jersey
Salary Range - $55,000 to $59,000 (plus benefits) based on education and experience
This is a full time position that reports to the Nurse Coordinator of Nurse Family Partnership. This position entails providing comprehensive community health nursing services to women and their families enrolled in the Nurse Family Partnership program in accordance with program goals, objectives, and protocols. Client caseload consists of women of child-bearing age, approximately 13-45 and their infants and children, birth through two years.
The qualifications for the position are:
** BSN required
** Registered Nurse licensed in the Stat! e of New Jersey
** Two years recent experience in mat! ernal/child health, public health, home visiting or mental/behavioral nursing preferred
** Culturally competent experience working with diverse populations
** Basic computer skills necessary
** Ability to communicate well with consumers and providers
** Good organizational skills and ability to prioritize work requirements
** Must have transportation and valid driver's license and insurance
** Bilingual a plus
Successful candidates for employment by SNJPC must undergo a criminal background check and driver's license review.
