The Psychology Department at Rowan University invites applications for a tenure-track
assistant professor faculty position to begin Fall 2014. The successful candidate will be expected to teach both undergraduate and graduate courses. New faculty members are expected to maintain an active program of research that is competitive for external funding and provides students with research experience.
Research area is! open, although a preference will be given to those with interest and experience in behavioral medicine and pediatric psychology.
In addition, the successful candidate will participate in service to the department and university.
Required qualifications for this position include

A doctoral degree from an APA-accredited program in Clinical psychology, completion of an APA-accredited internship, and licensure (or eligibility) as a psychologist in New Jersey.
Candidates should have expertise in the behavioral, or cognitive-behavioral, assessment and treatment of children and adolescents.
The Department of Psychology currently offers Masters’ degrees and advanced graduate certificate programs in Applied Behavior Analysis, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, and School Psychology and we are in the process of developing a Ph.D. program in Clinical Health Psychology. In addition to the Department’s graduate programs, we ha! ve a thriving undergraduate program with over 800 undergraduate majors ! and an undergraduate specialization in applied behavior analysis. Ample opportunities for collaboration with colleagues in the medical schools and the Delaware Valley area are available.
