Occupational Therapist OT - Lead TherapistPediatrics - InpatientA renowned hospital in Middlesex County is looking for a fulltime Therapy Supervisor ! - Occupational Therapist OT for their pediatric unit. Focusing on the rehab of the pediatric population, this organization is on the cutting edge of pediatric care and employs excellent professionals in the field. This organizaiton provides an interdisciplinary approach to care, which allows for a patient-centered care approach. Due to growth, this hospital is looking for a qualified Lead Occupational Therapist OT to join their team.Reporting to the Director, the Lead Occupational Therapist OT will work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to provide high quality care to the inpatient pediatric population. Responsibilities include: -Provide direct clinical care.-Treat diagnoses consisting of: TBI, ortho, premees, CP, Autism Spectrum, and other physical and developmental delays & disabilities.-Ensuring continuity and completeness of care. -Coordinating and implementing policies/procedures -Communicating and incorporating relevant research findings into practice, ed! ucation and consultation -Initiating, directing and leading te! am(s) to meet comprehensive medical and rehabilitative patient care needs -Handle/Assist with administrative, operational, and financial oversight of the clinical department.Schedule: staggered schedule, full-time positionBenefits / Compensation: dependent on experience; 3 weeks of Paid Time Off, holidays, continuing education opportunities
Lead Occupational Therapist OTPediatrics - Inpatient Current NJ OT License Professional Affiliation with the AOTA Bachelor's or Master's degree required. Minimum of 5 years clinical experience in pediatrics. Inpatient experience strongly desired.
