Description: Center for Diagnostic Imaging is currently seeking to employ P/T Polysomnographic Techician right now, this occupation will be depute in New Jersey. Polysomnographic Technician is responsible for the sleep center operations during the course of their shift, such as answering the phones and any other pertinent clerical duties. Performs standard and complex polysomnographic recordings and monitors physiological phenomena throughout such procedures. Performs any procedure within their scope of practice, such as multiple sleep latency testing, maintenance of wakefulness studies, archiving patient studies and documentation of any issues regarding equipment, supplies, and patient incidents. If qualified, can perform scoring under the discretion of the Sleep Center Manager/ Coordinator. Requirements: Education/Training/Certification/Licensure: New Jersey Polysomnographic license required. Certified or Registered Polysomnographic Technologist strongly preferred. Consideration will be given to Registered Respiratory Therapists or Registered EEG Technician candidates with Sleep experience. BLS or CPR Certification required. Scoring knowledge strongly desirable. Two to Five years previous patient care or experience in health related environment required. Experience with pediatric and adult populations..
