We are seeking an experience Hospital Staff Pharmacist for a 7on 7off Night Shift (10pm to 8am). Must have recent acute hospital experience and Hospital computer experience, chemotherapy preparation and IV Mixture experience.
Processes medication orders from medical staff for patients, while ensuring patient safety. Assumes the responsibility of medication-related work by pharmacy technicians and supportive personnel. Assures compliance with regulatory agencies. Supplies medication information and education to patients and other health-care professionals. Maintains high standards of professional competency.
Follows departmental and hospital policy and procedures. Complies with State and Federal laws, regulations, and accreditation standards (ie HIPAA, The Joint Commission, etc).
Acts on behalf of the Pharmacy manager in their absence.
