Description:
The Nurse Manager Assistant is responsible for demonstrating clinical expertise, leadership and educational abilities and research skills. In conjunction with the Nurse Manager, the Nurse Manager Assistant is responsible for management activities related to scheduling, budgeting, and allocation of resources for his/her unit. S/he will assume all responsibilities of the Nurse Manager in his or her absence.

Schedule:
Varied days 7:00 AM-7:30 PM

Requirements:
[Minimum education] Associate in Applied Science (AAS) is required.

[Desired education] Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.

[Minimum work experience] 3 years of experience on a Pediatric In-patient unit.

[Desired work experience]

• Management
• Registered Nurse
• Supervisory

[Required licenses/certifications]

• (ACLS) Advanced Cardiac Life Support
• (BLS) Basic Life Support
• (PALS) Pediatric Advanced Life Support
• Conscious Sedation is required.
• (RN) Registered Nurse Or State Eligible

[Required skills]

• Computer Literate
• Venipuncture

Able to work in fast paced environment. Provides outstanding care to patients and families where we treat each child as our own. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills are required.
