RN Float Pool
Location: Freehold, New Jersey
Description: CentraState Healthcare System is at present recruited RN Float Pool right now, this job will be delegated in New Jersey. The float pool nurses are required to work on all the adult floors, Critical Care Unit, Emergency Department, Pediatrics, and the Short Stay Unit for a significant differential. The specific requirements of each area apply.
The RN utilizes the nursing process to administer culturally sensitive, patient-focused care to assigned patients that is congruent with ANA standards, the NJ Practice Act, the Joint Commission, professional standards and Nursing Department Policies and Procedures that are evidence-based. The RN is a member of a staff that includes the Nurse Manager, Assistant Nurse Manager, Multi-Skilled Technicians, and Unit Secretaries. A patient-focused model of care utilizes a multi-disciplinary team approach.
Job Qualifications:
- Graduate of an approved program for Registered Nurses
- Current license to practice in New Jersey
- Two years experience in specialty preferred
- Satisfactory completion of the specialty specific pharmacology test
- American Heart Association Basic Cardiac Life Support training is required
- Any specialty credentialing required to be achieved within the first year and maintained thereafter include: CSMC IV Certification and CPR.
